300 is out on the 8th or march in singapore theatres!!! whoopie!!!


basically its about 300 spartans (descendants of hercules) who fought against 1 million persian invaders in the battle of thermopylae.
and sorry to spoil it for you but this isnt a david vs goliath story so all the spartans died.
however, they did buy time for the other city-states of greece and killed many persians (kamikaze-d).
these 300 spartans go down in history as great warriors who sacrificed their lives gaining ultimate glory and honor in death.

the movie is based on frank miller's graphic novel 300.
which means its going to be awesome! (recall sin city)
its more history based fiction and many details have been changed to make the movie look cool (esp graphically).
well, the coolness of it has absolutely consumed and bought me over so 300 is on top of my to watch list!
i had a glimpse of the soundtrack too and tyler bates did his utmost to make the music awesome in the movie.
can't wait! (((:

in other news, my neighbours make the best cheesecake ever!

i'm extremely tempted to dine in kinara, the indian restaurant in holland village.
but... i dont think i'm ready for it yet. all the spices and curry.
and i dunno if its good. i just think it has a really nice looking door. (ok irrelevant)
i've never tried authentic indian cuisine btw.
prata is so not counted.
i'm going to drag one of my indian friends to bring me to eat delicious india food one day. (:

i'm off the enjoy the good times while i can!
