A man who played double-bass in the Mexico City Philharmonic told me that the finest instruments are made of wood that has been allowed to age naturally to remove the moisture. “You must age the wood for 80 years, then play the instrument for 80 years before it reaches its best sound,” said Luis Antonio Rojas. “A craftsman must use wood cut and aged by someone else, and he will never see any instrument reach its peak during his own lifetime.”

i am so tired! just totally drained of energy.
yet i cant sleep cos i took an espresso and a long black in a span of 2 hours for dinner.
bad bad move. now i feel dehydrated and i cant sleep! blah.

although tmr is the last day of official work, there's a pile of personal work to be settled at home.
lots of planning and deadlines to meet.
i pray that everything goes well as planned!
esp fitting in my holiday trip into those uni camps and TSL programmes. fingers crossed*
i wanna trip to either malé or hong kong.
going to hong kong is kinda silly since i'm there almost every freaking year, but maybe this time i can bring marcus around! :D i cant really think of what to do there since i'm not that big a sucker for shopping. so maybe just the eating part will be yummylicious (:
malé will be an awesome place to chill! snorkel and dive around... clear blue skies and water. should see it before it gets swallowed by the sea. then again i'm not really such a beach person.
i wish i could go to cannes or prague. that's pretty far and i'm unwilling to spend a mere 1 week in such beautiful places. boohooo. and its summer up north now! what a bummer. cant travel to cold places other than OZ and NZ.
