working in MI is really enjoyable right now with many of the alumnus coming back as relief all the way from batches of 2001. we get along well with the trainees too. what a blessing!
the workload is still manageable (read: i'm not requesting for more)
and more importantly the students are mostly good kids with the usual handful of naughty ones. but i'm slowly getting to them. yes! i'm hunting you down.

viola lessons are really getting to me. i love viola!!! the sound produced isnt as pitchy as violin (: and i'm picking it up pretty well! how ironic... since its merely for leisure unlike when i studied violin which was more about grades and exams. i guess its also because i practise more diligently now that i've more leisure time. first viola performance this saturday! ali'l nervous to duet with mr yan himself.

brought marcus along to attend ms cheah's wedding in acs barker last saturday.
the priest was hilarious! with the honest mistakes. "rachel and michael", "christopher and michael" before finally getting the right names "christopher and rachel".
met this really smart and pretty flower girl su-ann who took photos for me. wee! (:

speaking of that, good friday service was soooo cool when ryan loretta and i played percussion. we played FROGS. haha. i've no idea what the instrument is called but it croaks notes. it seriously croaks exactly like a frog. everyone around us were so amazed and curious. its nice to be part of the musical/opera even though it was a really small role.
i also helped godma with make up for the actors/disciples backstage. HAHA. me applying make up for other ppl? i cant even apply it on myself! anw, it wasnt that bad cos mei mei and i just ended up sharpening eyeliners and drawing false moustache on the actors. mei mei's dad acted as mark and he was so self conscious about his make up! or rather vain. lol. we made him look abit like charlie chaplin and hitler for a moment. kevin was so lucky he was john and escaped from the facial hair dept or else mei mei and i would have just draw turtles on his face of sth.

went to ibc later on good friday and the service had really nice songs. marvelous mystery.
headed to dempsey for B&J's after service for ice cream treat fr auntie jan! argh. i really need to break away from my horrible indulging diet. there is absolutely no control in my junk food intake these days.
instead headed to jones' grocer to get more delish caramel fudge and almond pistachio nougat aft icecream. yum yum (:

yesterday i visited grace in awfully chocolate (: tessa and siraj came a few mins later tailing me.
we had such a blast didnt we? HSC, hei, and so many pretty things!
i love their gorg icecream cup or rather chinese food box.
thank you grace for entertaining me the entire evening and thru the night. for the lovely yummy choc cake (which is ALL gone already btw). for my fav mentol airwaves!!! mango pudding and the pouch! loving the pouch tho i only use it for tissue paper? haha!
we had such a good talk on the swing under the night sky and cool breeze.
hopefully i can drop by every wed aft viola (o:

dogfights is so cool! ARGH! there goes my dreams of flying as a fighter.
omg. there is absolutely no freaking way i can think so intensely under such crazy Gforce and pressure to survive and dogfight. pilots are so skilled and quick they're CRAAZZYYY.
today's episode featured f8 crusaders during the viet war. one of the pilots dogfought for 10 whole mins! against 4-6 MIGs! against ambush, random missiles throw at him. then he ran out of missiles. g force and turns jammed all 4 of his guns. omg omg. and he lives today at 80+ yrs old. isnt he a genius?!
i am sooo impressed and awed.
i think i'll just stick to commercial flights. no kills/stars for me ):
