hello!
i'm here to update on the happier times! (:
its gonna be long...

Student Leadership Camp 2005.
the first day was alright.
ended up in Group 6 the Gungho.
with the sweetest thing from AKE and the friendly giant.
the campsite was not a disappointment. not luxury but fair enough.

highlight was on the seond day!
did mountain biking and it was an experience worth remembering.
during the warm up, going up & down the slopes were insane for a nutcase like me who has not rode a bike since gazillion years.
but i pulled thru worrying about cycling in the forest on the rocky and steep slopes.
was praying to God nonstop to let me get out of the expedition without any misfortunes.
and guess what?
i got only 2 mosquito bites! haha.
on the open field the instrutors taught us some cycling tactics to use for biking in the forest.
which is extremely useful when you can hit up to 40km/h if you lose control.
and braking!
if you hit the wrong brakes you'll be superman-cum-george of the jungle.
flying then hitting a tree :P
then it rained. so we hurried back to camp.
and this was when i saw the cutest little animals scurrying back to their homes!
they ran across my path really fast.
*moment of squimishness :D
campfire was held in the canteen due to the rain.
was pretty entertaining with some groups coming up with great skits.
mainly, kesavan's group spoofing on visa and beer ads.
samantha's group with a spoof on dove shampoo ad and movies.
lastly group5&6 spoofon the teachers which was a hit!
won us the item of the night. yayness.
then it was solo night walk!
wooooo
basically i didnt get scared cos i walked so fast i saw where the SCs were hiding when they scared charlene who was walking slowly in front of me.
in fact i think i scared some of them cos i let my hair down. heehee.

day three!
eh. some evaluation.
blahblah. break camp!
headed to rail mall for lunch.
played around.
ate ALOT. huge pizzas from rocky's.
wan ting was working there! nice to meet her again.
i left my file there! so byebye contacts and notes.
went to gab's place and watched mean girls.
then on the way home met lousy cab driver who shows the ugly side of humans.
karma will get back at him! haha.


today i watched shutter!!!
that thai horror movie.
the twist was damn shit.
but its not scaring me cos i have a clear conscience. haha.
then watched monsters-in-law.
reminded me of some friends!
wasnt that good. but a safe movie.

i'm reading the secret history by donna tartt.
NICE. recommended.

better get the ball rolling or i'll waste my holidays away!
