biopic movies on musicians.

first it was De-lovely.

enjoyable movie with kevin kline as cole porter.
was amazing how the producers compiled cole porter's music to perfectly piece out this movie.

then there was Ray.

very inspiring.
an engaging story told in a classic cinematic style.
not a great fan of ray charles but this movie definitely brings you into his world to appreciate his music. for a minute i was convinced jamie foxx IS ray charles. thats how good that fella is.

now here's Walk The Line.

joaquin phoenix as johnny cash.
how good is this gonna be?
not a fan of reese witherspoon. in fact i dont see her brilliance.
but tyler hilton as elvis presley? definitely worth a try.
not into country music or the annoying western accent but hopefully this movie can prove me otherwise.

how's Chapter 27 gonna be?
Lindsay Lohan and Jared Leto will star in an independent movie about the murder of former Beatle John Lennon, Daily Variety said in its Thursday edition.
“Chapter 27″ features Lohan as a Lennon fan who befriends Lennon’s murderer, Mark Chapman (Leto), during the weekend that he kills the musician outside his New York apartment building, the paper said. It did not mention who would play Lennon.
dont fancy lohan or leto's acting.
but screwing up a movie on lennon? thats unforgivable.
not exactly a biopic.
picture the movie playing the song imagine while chapman shoots lennon on slow-mo. wth? haha.

heard there's one coming out on kurt cobain?
they'd better find an actor who can live up as him.
and courtney love. ew.
i pick leonardo dicaprio and scarlett johansson.
